A video of a woman bypassing tongs and plunging her hands directly into hot oil while frying food has gone viral on social media. The video was originally posted on TikTok, although the exact location where it was recorded is unknown.

Of course, the woman in the video is not the only one to do this. Prem Singh of New Delhi has been frying fish by putting his bare hands in hot oil for over two decades.
