A bride and a bridegroom exchanged garlands made of onions and garlic at their wedding ceremony held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, news agency ANI has reported.
According to the report, the couple wanted to make a statement against the rising prices of onions in India. A few guests also presented the couple with baskets of onions as wedding gifts.
