Two men in Jiangsu, China pulled off a heroic rescue act when they saw a three-year-old girl dangling from a balcony. Left alone at home by her father while she was asleep, she had opened the window, climbed out into the balcony, and was hanging precariously from the railing.

Two men – a courier and the owner of a small business – immediately started climbing up the building from the road, risking their own lives in the process. One of them got to the balcony swiftly and hauled the child to safety.

“I feel so grateful to the two heroes who saved my kid. I know that it was really dangerous even for the men themselves to climb up so high on the building,” the father told CCTV Plus. He was later given a verbal warning for leaving the child unattended.
