On a promotional campaign for her new album Queen, singer Nicki Minaj was part of The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week. Besides talking about her love life (below) and her recent feud with musician Travis Scott (bottom), Minaj lived up to her song about the generous queen (don’t forget Ellen is DeGeneres queen).
So, DeGeneres and the singer, in collaboration with Walmart, gave away $50,000 each to three lucky students -– Jacob, Lauren, and Chrissy – to help pay off their student loans. The students couldn’t control their emotions after the announcement, naturally.
This is not the first time they’ve done it. In 2017, when Minaj went on twitter to pay back some her student fans’ debts, she decided to establish a relief fund for helpless students. Later, she went on air with DeGeneres who donated $25,000 to her fund.
