Writer, social activist, former software engineer and Infosys Foundation chairperson Sudha Murthy has set the Indian internet buzzing with her personal involvement in relief efforts for flood-affected people in Kerala and in Kodagu in Karnataka.
In a video posted on social media – which has since gone viral – Murthy can be seen packing of cartons of relief material with a team of people, not just supervising them but lending a hand herself.
While Murthy is known for her philanthropic work, such personal involvement in physical work from organisational leaders clearly evokes admiration, judging from the praise on twitter after the video was posted there.
