American singer-songwriter Janet Jackson is back with a single after a three-year gap. Jackson teamed up with Daddy Yankee to make Made for Now, a song inspired by Afrobeats and prominent for its upbeat drums.
The video, directed by Dave Meyers, features Jackson in colourful outfits touring New York City neighbourhoods. Daddy Yankee and Jackson also gave a live performance of the song on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Her last release was her 2015 album, Unbreakable.
