The host of the Daily Show, Trevor Noah, spares no political leader, no matter which country they’re from. In a recent episode, Noah’s acerbic views were on display once again when he compared Pakistan’s new Prime Minister, Imran Khan, to US President Donald Trump.
Noah pointed out several similarities between the two heads of state in terms of their political experience – or the lack of it – and personal life. He started off by talking about how “people are taking what Trump is doing in the US and rebooting it elsewhere” and drew parallels between how the news media in both countries had similar takes on the candidates before elections.
“I don’t know if Prime Minister Khan will turn out to be exactly like President Trump. All I’m saying is that if you’re planning to move to Pakistan to escape Trump, you might want to pick some place else,” Noah concluded.
