American singer Kanye West recently made a guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show, where he talked about, among other things, what he thinks of US President Donald Trump, whom he has announced his support for.
When Kimmel questioned Kanye’s approval of Trump, the musician called the host a “player” and asked Trump’s adversaries to rise from hate, trying to sound rather profound.
But West’s arguments didn’t stand a chance when Kimmel brought up the recent immigrant-detaining fiasco on the Mexican border. He said, ‘There are families, literally, being torn apart as a result of what this president is doing. Whether we like his personality or not, his actions are really what matter.”
West had said in a statement that former president “George Bush doesn’t care about black people”. Kimmel asked him what made him think Trump does, which left West fumbling for an answer.
Twitter users created memes to share their amusement over this.
