A recent addition to the internet hall of artistic fame is a house-painter from Pakistan, whose soulful singing has won many hearts.
As the video above shows, the man went about his work crooning some of the well-known songs of Bollywood singer Arijit Singh. Impressed audiences on twitter have been calling on renowned singers and music directors like Vishal Dadlani and Shreya Ghoshal to provide him with a larger platform.
An auto-rikshaw driver from Karachi had staked a similar claim to fame a few years ago, when he sang a thumri by the renowned Bade Ghulam Ali Khan (below).
The singer managed to capture the attention of Indian musician Daler Mehndi, who offered him a flat in a city of his choice, Lahore or Karachi, as a token of appreciation.
