Phokkathara Zoo in Northern Thailand experienced a terrifying incident when one of its reptile-handlers tried to perform a trick for the audience. He was trying to put his arms into a crocodile’s mouth for the benefit of the audience, but the crocodile wouldn’t have it and clamped his teeth on him.
The footage was shared by Khun Phusawait, who was visiting the zoo with his family. Dong Wittawat, the owner of the animal park, said, “’The performer is fine. His name is Tao and he is 45. The crocodile does not have a name.”
To everyone’s relief, Wittawat added, “He was was treated at the farm with bandaging. He loves crocodiles and he will be working again soon in the next two weeks. It is very rare for this to happen.’’
