Fresh from the successful rescue of the football team stuck in a cave in Thailand, members of the rescue team were hailed as heroes once again when they lent a hand to rescue people affected by the collapse of a dam in the neighbouring Laos.

“We found three families together, they ate bamboo shoots but there were not many and they were hungry,” Kengkard Bongkawong, one of the Thai rescuers told AFP.
