Diners at a restaurant were rudely interrupted in the middle of their meal when the floor underneath one of the tables caved in.
Six people fell into the hole at the restaurant in Shijiazhuang, in the Hebei province of China in the nightmarish incident. The Shanghaiist reported that three of them were slightly injured.
The video of the incident posted on social media shows the pit formed after the ground gave away. The restaurant blamed the collapse on a leaky underground pipeline. The only consolation for the diners was that they were not asked not to pay for the food they had eaten already.
