Black Eyed Peas have released their latest single, Get It, accompanied by a video that alludes heavily to police brutality in the US, particularly towards persons of colour.
Directed by Ben Mor, the video highlights the lack of trust between the police and civilians. It starts with a stirring visual of police wrestling a young African-American man to the ground, and ends with a Donald Trump look-alike watching the violence unfold with an indifferent look on his face.
The video also contains allusions to the Charlottesville white supremacist rally and several controversial police killings.
