The Uttarakhand government has obviously not been watching enough TV. How else to explain its Rs 25-crore search for the Sanjeevani booti, the mythical herb cited in the Ramayana for the power to supposedly cure any ailment and even bring the dead back to life?
After all, as the video above, a news report by Aaj Tak, states with assurance, members of the Patanjali Institute of Haridwar – among whose trustees is Baba Ramdev – have already found the mythical herb. One of the claims is that it can "revive a person who is in a coma".
(Go home, all you medical doctors with degrees, your job is done.)
Just to refresh your memories, the video below is a scene from the old Ramayana television serial, showing Dara Singh playing Hanuman and carrying the entire Kailash mountain because even he wasn't able to locate the life-giving herb.
