One of the most most popular web series on the YouTube channel The Viral Fever used to be Times Now news anchor Arnab Goswami. Well, they're back with "Arnub" Goswami, but this time they've got the popular – and widely respected – Hindi news anchor Ravish Kumar in their sights as well.

It begins with a short send-up of Ravish Kumar, who is known for being a voice of reason when anchoring debates and for using not a "teleprompter but telepathy". Kumar takes on the role of the nation's "favourite" prime time host because Goswami's gone into hiding, as India isn't the "best country in the world".

Indeed, how can the country have that status when "you have to go all the way to Switzerland just to deposit your black money because in India we don't even have a reserve for our own black money" or when we are "twentieth in corruption, fifty-seventh in number of American Idol winners and third in coming fourth in most of the surveys".

As a result Newshour has become a "Debate with doorknob". But it's gone on long enough. The promise of "hot jalebis" (reminiscent of a famous ad from the 90s) and the chance to #makeIndiagreatagain turns out to be too big for even Arnub to resist.

Here's a previous episode from the series.
