Perhaps the only places left on earth where human creations do not intrude on nature are beneath the oceans.
In the video above, underwater filmmaker Ken O’Sullivan of Sea Fever Productions turns the camera towards his own journey of documenting life within the sea. He has been filming the North Atlantic Ocean around Ireland for about ten years now.
“There aren’t many of us swimming about and diving in the North Atlantic all year around. Film makers try to record and articulate what’s occurring in a given situation. After ten years in the seas around Ireland, it felt like a natural thing to turn the mirror on myself, perhaps because of the solitude of my work or perhaps because of an inherent need to understand my own personal journey. The result is this short film”, Sullivan says of this film.
