For football suffering from withdrawal symptoms after the end of the month-long Euro 2016, here’s a little fix: a video with trippy animation that tells the entire story of the football tournament.
The video has all the high notes. From Dimitri Payet’s goal to Iceland's Viking cheer and the overjoyed commentator, with a detour through rioting hooligans, before returning to Robbie Brady’s header and wrapping things up with Éder’s late goal for Portugal in the final. Some comments are arguing that the video is more entertaining than the actual tournament and that sentiment might have more takers.
The video has been created by a New York-based studio and samples Drake's Hotline Bling software. Earlier, the football fan group Copa90 had animated all the goals scored in the Euro 2016.
