You can't really have an international football tournament without a Luis Suarez tantrum, can you?

Uruguay were knocked out out of the Copa America Centenario after a dispiriting 1-0 loss to Venezuela and obviously Suarez made his displeasure known....even from the substitute bench.

The incident came around the 83rd minute. Suarez, nursing an injury which had ruled him out of the first game, was not named in the starting eleven or the substitutes' line-up. But it seems the hot-tempered Barcelona star had no idea about this.

After warming up on the sidelines during the second half, he realised that he was not going to get a game after all.

This brought forth an immediate reaction. He shouted at the assistant coach, punched the wall and threw away his bib after taking a seat (video above).

Of course, this isn't the first time the high-profile Uruguayan striker has found himself at the centre of controversy at the world tournament. Remember that infamous bite?

Coming back to the match, it was another poor performance from Uruguay, after they crashed to a 3-1 defeat against Mexico in their opener. Their goal-keeper Fernando Muslera was caught off his line in the 36th minute and only managed to tip the ball into play from where Venezuela's Salomón Rondón swooped in and scored. Uruguay were listless and their performance was epitomised by their striker Edinson Cavani who missed a sitter right at the death.

Elsewhere in the same group, Mexico put in another commanding performance to book their spot in the quarters. Javier "Chicarito" Hernandez rose to direct a header in the 34th minute and Oribe Peralta sealed it for Mexico, with a finish which just sneaked into the goal.
