Manchester United dealt a crushing blow to Arsenal's faltering title hopes with a fantastic 3-2 win over their London rivals at Old Trafford on Sunday. But the highlight of the match was United manager Louis van Gaal's unique way of remonstrating with the fourth official (Video above).

With fourteen minutes left on the clock, the Dutchman should have been more pleased that the young team he had put out were leading 3-2. But when United's Ander Herrera was booked, van Gaal strode up to the fourth official, suitably angered, uttered a few words... and flung himself dramatically to the ground, notebook and pen still in hand!

In fact, it was even more hilarious considering that van Gaal has hardly been seen on the touchline previously, and has often been the target of criticism for his undemonstrative behaviour.

Although he later admitted that he had gone a bit too far, that did not stop the United faithful from parodying his hilarious play-acting.

But that should not take anything away from a fine United performance. Ravaged by injuries, Louis van Gaal was forced to field a side with new names and a lot of inexperience. However, United's young guns picked up the gauntlet brilliantly, exemplified by a double strike from the 18-year old teenage sensation, Marcus Rashford, who scored two goals in three minutes.
