You just cannot keep Chris Gayle away from the headlines.
The big-hitting Jamaican batsman's recent scores in the ongoing Pakistan Super League read like a phone number – 6, 0, 37, 0. But Gayle isn't the sort who's too perturbed.
The Lahore Qalandars were playing the Peshawar Zalmi on Sunday. Before the game, former Australian all-rounder and now television commentator Tom Moody caught up with Gayle for a bit of chitchat.
It all went well, till the end. Gayle signed off with a line which sounded familiar, followed by a loud guffaw:
"Ok...cheers, Tom. Don't blush, Tom."
Gayle had courted much controversy after using the same lines on reporter Mel McLaughlin, a woman, while being interview on the sidelines of a Big Bash match in January. But looking at the flippant nature with which he continues to deal with it, Gayle obviously seems to think it's one giant joke, just to be laughed at and dismissed.
