The Super Bowl is, without doubt, among the greatest celebrations of American sport. And even if you have no clue about what the sport (it's American football, by the way), that does not mean that even you can't enjoy the spectacle.
Because the Super Bowl, the game to decide the champion of the National Football League, is special, not just for what happens on the field, but also for what happens off it.
So while the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10 to win their third Super Bowl title, the final was quite a defensive affair. But the half-time performances saved the day as Beyonce, Coldplay and Bruno Mars rocked the show with a special performance. (Video above)
And Beyonce certainly gets more credit, after almost falling over while performing:
Of course, the half-time commercials are also keenly awaited. A lot of trailers but there were two which caught our eye: automobile giant Audi paying tribute to legend David Bowie in this heart-warming commercial:
And then this childhood favourite, Pokemon, still alive and well and exhorting you to "Train On" on its 20th anniversary:
