The Islamic State has used all sorts of techniques to tempt people into joining the reborn caliphate bandwagon. There is of course, the attractive prospect of a life on the frontlines of a religious war. If that isn't good enough for you, there are also salaries, although there has been some cost cutting on this front of late. Some have even suggested ISIS uses kittens and nutella. And now, at least according to CNN, they've got a new secret weapon: attractive men.

Based on a blog written by a Malaysian woman who says she joined the jihadi movement in 2014, this CNN segment talks about a "match.com" approach that ISIS is using to recruit women. "After a few minutes, I flip my niqab," the news organisation quoted the blog as saying. "He looked at me. Our eyes catch each others’. I had palpitation that is faster than the speed of light."

Analysts quoted by CNN said the blog is a recruitment tool for ISIS, and that there's even a catchphrase circulating.

'Jihotties' refers to men who are displaying the masculinity, what heroes they are and how amazing they are as good Muslim men who are brave and are willing to fight

The internet, of course, quite enjoyed this new secret ISIS weapon.
