Many more people live in India's non-metro cities than in the Big Five of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore. But the share of voice of these other cities is disproportionately low.
Except when something comes along to make you sit up and take notice. Like the video above, with breathtaking footage of Vishakhapatnam.
Known by its nickname Vizag, the city – like its peers all over the country – for far too many people is a geography lesson. A port, and, if you paid attention in school, a steel plant.
As it happens, Vishakhapatnam is not only a thriving economic hub, it is also one of the beautifully situated cities in India, nestling between the hills of the Eastern Ghats and the deep blue of the Bay of Bengal.
Shot on a DJI Phantom 3 Professional drone, the footage covers the expanse of Vishakhatpatnam's sea, land and hills in breathtaking detail. The background score is a track Intro by British band called The xx. It was put up by "Vipresh's channel" on YouTube.
