Crocodiles are secretive creatures. Trying to film them as they chomp down their meal will usually lead these big reptiles to slink back under water, meal in tow. If they don't decide to eat you instead, that is.
Secretive and aggressive, their style of hunting is to ambush their prey. Saltwater crocodiles are nature's most skilled hunters, outdoing even sharks. Their bite force is the strongest of any animal of the planet – between 3,000 to 5,000 pounds per square inch. Force enough to easily crush a human skull.
Enamoured by these beasts, photographer Trevor Frost decided to film them from a completely fresh perspective: their victim's. Frost along with filmmaker Melissa Lesh deployed remote-controlled toy boats jerry-rigged to hold embedded GoPro cameras, maneuvering them around crocodile habitat.
The description on the video says "They had nine successful deployments, which captured what is likely the first videos ever of a saltwater crocodile attack from the inside of its mouth."
