Vasan Bala’s Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota (The Man Who Feels No Pain) will have its global premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival, which is being held between September 6 and September 16.
Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota will be screened in the Midnight Madness section, which brings together genre films from across the world. Other films that will be screened in this section include Shane Black’s The Predator reboot and David Gordon Green’s Halloween remake.
Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota is about a man (Abhimanyu Dasani) who literally feels no pain. He is joined by a character played by Radhika Madan. Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota is Bala’s second film after the unreleased Peddlers (2012). His screenwriting credits include Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet (2015) and Raman Raghav 2.0 (2017).
