The movie stars Jimmy Shergill, Ashutosh Rana, newcomer Suha Gezen, Eijaz Khan, Sanjay Suri and Narendra Jha.
The Legend of Tarzan Edgar Rice Burroughs’s enduring creation has been adapted for the small and big screen numerous times. In the new version, directed by David Yates (who has handled the last four Harry Potter films), the man who was brought up by great apes in the jungle now lives in an English country estate and goes by the name John Clayton. John (Alexander Skarsgard) is blissfully married to Jane (Margot Robbie), but his domestic idyll is shattered when he becomes a pawn in the hands of crooked Belgian seafarer Leon (Christoph Waltz). The cast includes Samuel L Jackson, Jim Broadbent, and Djimon Hounsou.
Fireflies in the Abyss Drishyam Films is distributing Chandrashekhar Reddy’s award-winning documentary through a limited number of screens. Fireflies in the Abyss explores the hazardous conditions in which children are made to work in Manipur’s illegal mining industry. Among the characters is 12-year-old mine worker Suraj, who wants to go back to school.
Free State of Jones Gary Ross (The Hunger Games, Seabiscuit) directs a new American Civil War-era drama set in Jones County, Mississippi. Matthew McConaughey plays a fictional version of Newton Knight, who led a rebellion against the Confederate states that had seceded from the American Union in the mid-nineteenth century. In the movie, Knight galvanises the community against the Confederates and establishes a mixed-race Utopia in Jones County.
