The video apology sent by American actors Johnny Depp and Amber Heard to a court in Australia for neglecting to properly declare their two Yorkshire terriers when entering the country last year has evoked derision rather than sympathy. Heard escaped a conviction on the charge of dog smuggling, and in the video, she claims that she is “truly sorry that Pistol and Boo were not declared”. Depp cockily adds, “Declare everything when you enter Australia.”
What were they smoking, you may wonder. Here is what could have possibly happened while recording the video, according to YouTube comedian Natalie Tran.
