Sisters, starring comedians Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, will be released on December 18. So will Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Sisters, about siblings who throw a party for the last time in the house in which they grew up, cannot stand up to Star Wars in terms of production costs and marketing spend, but that’s where Fey-Poehler come in.
Fey-Poehler have also started a hashtag #youcanseethemboth and worked on a spoof featurette, in which they attempt to speak in British accents. The clip includes a hit-and-miss cameo by actor George Takei, who played Sulu in the television series and the first six movies, and Maya Rudolph, who channels her inner Chewbacca.
