The line-up of musicians performing at the NH7 Weekender music festival that is coming up in Delhi (Nov 28-29), Pune (Dec 4-6) and Bengaluru (Dec 5-6) can best be seen in a video cover of AR Rahman’s Dhakka Laga Bukka song from Yuva (2004).
Singer and composer Vishal Dadlani features in the video, jamming with artists that include singer Alisha Pais, guitarist Warren Mendonsa, rapper Naezy and Niladri Kumar, who creates a unique sound with his zitar. Ranjit Barot has arranged and produced the music.
The original track is the film's raison d'être, charging the film's course to its moment-of-truth climax.
The NH7 Weekender is one of the most anticipated music festivals in the Indian calendar. The sixth edition of the festival features more than 100 bands across five stages in five cities. The festival opened in Shillong in October, covering Kolkata on its way to the remaining three cities on tour.
