Reliance Industries Chairperson Mukesh Ambani on Monday said Reliance group will create a special task force and will make several announcements related to the investment in the two new Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
The Home Ministry claimed there were no untoward incidents in Jammu and Kashmir as people offered prayers on Eid-al-Adha in local mosques. Some reports said the state administration had reimposed curfew in parts of Srinagar.
Meanwhile, the toll in the floods in Kerala rose to 72 and that in Karnataka and Maharashtra rose to 40 each.
