At least three people were injured in a series of rocket explosions in and around a residential area in Kabul on Tuesday afternoon, TOLONews reported.
Five rockets were fired between 1 pm and 2.15 pm (between 2 pm and 3.15 pm Indian time) near Afshar area in the northwestern part of the city.
The first rocket landed on a house, and the next two landed on the slope of a nearby mountain, according to eyewitnesses. Two children and one woman were injured, police said.
The rockets were fired from the Paghman area and appear to have been targeted at a nearby police academy, authorities said.
