At least eight people, including four children, were injuerd on Saturday after a two-storey residential building in Pune’s Mundhwa area collpased, PTI reported.
“The building was around 30 years old,” PTI quoted an unidentified police official as saying. “Located near a nullah, it was already in a precarious condition and incessant rains might have worsened its condition, leading to its collapse around noon.”
Four of the victims are members of the building owners’ family. The injured are being treated at a local hospital.
