Kalam's aide and adviser Srijan Pal Singh will also pay tribute to the late president in his book, What Can I Give?: Life Lessons from My Teacher, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Published by Penguin Random House, the book gives readers a look into Kalam's life and shares rare anecdotes and unseen pictures of the Bharat Ratna awardee, PTI reported. Singh will donate royalties from the book towards providing free education to underprivileged children.
Indian Institute of Management, Shillong, where Kalam passed away last year after suffering a heart attack while delivering a speech, will organise a lecture series as a tribute. IIM-Shillong Director Amitabha De also said, “To pay our respects to the legend, we will name the auditorium in our new campus after the former president with a life-size statue of him to be placed outside it.”
