Leander Paes and Rohan Bopanna beat the South Korean pair of Hong Chung and Seong Chang Hong 6-3 6-4 6-4 to give India a 3-0 win against South Korea in their Group I Asia/Oceania Second Round match in Chandigarh on Saturday.
Bopanna and Paes, who will represent India at the upcoming Rio Olympics in the men's doubles category, were in fine form, breezing through the match easily. They broke their South Korean opponents at the right time to ensure a largely untroubled lead.
On Friday, Ramkumar Ramanthan and Saketh Myeni had given India a 2-0 lead, with victories over Yong-Kyu Lim and Seong Chan Hong, respectively.
