The Indian men's hockey team were defeated 1-0 by New Zealand in their third game of the Six Nations Invitational Tournament in Valencia on Thursday.
Stephen Jenness scored the only goal of the game in the 18th minute after a scoreless first half. India enjoyed a lot of possession but failed to make it count, hardly getting any clear-cut chances to score. They shot wide from a penalty corner and failed to convert another penalty corner at the end.
India's next game is against Argentina on Saturday. They lost to Germany 4-0 in their first game and beat Republic of Ireland 2-1 in their second.
