An online poll conducted by Reuters/Ipsos showed on Friday that United States Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has regained a double-digit lead over her Republican rival Donald Trump. Clinton is ahead of Trump by 13% votes.
While 46.6% American voters are likely to support Clinton, 33.3% pledged their allegiance to Trump. The remaining 20.1% supported neither of them.
After the Orlando shooting incident this month, Trump had reduced this gap with his anti-Muslim propaganda. The difference between the two contenders was only of nine points.
Not only popularity among voters, Clinton pips Trump even when it comes to finances and other logistics for their poll campaign. While Trump started June with $1.3 million, Clinton was way ahead of him with $42 million. However, the Republican contestant claimed to use his "unlimited" personal wealth if need be.
