Brussels police on Tuesday detained a man after a bomb alert in a shopping mall in the city. An anti-terrorism operation is underway, and reports said the suspect was likely to have been wearing a suicide vest. Prime Minister Charles Michel and members from the national crisis response centre will be meeting to discuss the incident.
Brussels is on high alert after multiple bomb attacks struck the city earlier this year (pictured above). On March 22, as many as 34 people were killed after explosions in a Brussels airport and a metro station.
