A suicide bomber attacked a minibus in Kabul on Monday morning leaving at least 14 foreign security guards dead and several injured, reported Al Jazeera. Most of the victims were reportedly Nepalese nationals travelling in the bus.
The attack was followed by an attempt to kill a Member of Parliament in eastern part of the city. The second attack as wcarried out only hours after the first one has injured four civilians. The Taliban has taken responsibility for the attacks. This is the first such terror attack in the Afghanistan capital since the holy month of Ramzan started on June 6.
