Several people were injured in an explosion that took place in a bus in Haryana’s Fatehabad district. The bus was travelling along Bhuna road at the time, ANI reported.
The explosion was caused by potash, which is used in farms and also to break rocks. A passenger was carrying potash in a bottle, which fell and caused the blast, Assistant Director General of Police (Law and Order) Mohammad Akhil told ANI.
This is the fourth bus blast to take place in Haryana. On May 26, a low-intensity blast had injured 12 persons in Kurukshetra. However, in that instance, officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs had claimed the incident was a terror attack.
