Amitabh Bachchan is likely to host a five-hour-long show on May 28 at India Gate to mark the completion of two years for the Narendra Modi Government, reported Hindustan Times. The prime minister will be present at the event, along with other dignitaries and celebrities. State broadcaster Doordarshan will telecast the event live.

The programme will revolve around the achievements of the National Democratic Alliance government in the past two years, highlighting major schemes and milestones such as the Jan Dhan, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gramin Jyoti Yojna, LED bulb distribution scheme, Digital India and Swachh Bharat, among others. There will be talk shows about the BJP government's efforts and the roadmap for the future. There will also be several cultural routines during the event.
