Indian boxer Vijender Singh won his sixth professional bout in professional wrestling, defeating his Polish opponent Andrzej Soldra in three rounds in Bolton on Friday.
Singh won the bout in the third of the eight-round bout by technical knock-out. He was dominant throughout the match, putting in jabs at will with Soldra not getting much of a chance to fight back.
This takes Singh's record in professional boxing to six consecutive wins on the trot. His next bout is scheduled in India on June 11 in Delhi, where he will fight for the World Boxing Organization Asia title belt against an opponent who is yet to be finalised.
