Modi does not want to delay the reorganisation any longer and wants to proceed with his new team regardless of the outcome of the election results, the report quoted sources as saying. The prime minister and BJP president Amit Shah have completed a “detailed exercise” to make sure that the reshuffle is of “maximum advantage” to the party and the Centre, it added.
Some new ministers are expected to be inducted, while the portfolios of others will be reshuffled, the report said. However, a minister told the daily that senior BJP leaders Arun Jaitley, Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj and Nitin Gadkari are expected to keep their Cabinet portfolios.
