Actor Priyanka Chopra has confirmed on Twitter that she will be attending the 2016 White House Correspondents’ Dinner on April 30. The Quantico star responded in the affirmative when asked by a fan on Twitter whether she will be attending the dinner, which will be United States President Barack Obama's last one before his term ends. Chopra will be seated next to reality television star Kendall Jenner and actors Rosario Dawson, Alan Cumming, Miles Teller, and Neve Campbell, reported Hindustan Times.

Chopra's confirmation comes just a day after Hollywood news website Deadline reported that she will not attend the event because of production scheduling issues. The White House Correspondents’ Dinner is a tradition that began in 1920 and is held on the evening of the last Saturday of April at the Washington Hilton hotel.
