Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has been ruled out of the remainder of the World Twenty20 2016 because of an ankle injury. The announcement came a day before India's semifinal clash with the West Indies in Mumbai. Yuvraj had injured his ankle while batting in the match against Australia on Sunday.
The Indian team has roped in Karnataka batsman Manish Pandey as a replacement in the squad, with Mumbai's Ajinkya Rahane also available for selection. Yuvraj, 34, has had a rather ordinary tournament, scoring only 52 runs in four matches at an average of 13.
