Virat Kohli's astounding form in the ongoing World Twenty20 2016 has ensured that he will enter the semifinals as the No1 batsman in the Twenty20 International rankings. Kohli replaced Australian batsman Aaron Finch in the latest update of the rankings announced by the International Cricket Council.

Kohli, who has scored 184 runs in four T20 World Cup matches at an average of 92, entered the tournament 24 points behind Finch, but has now left the Australian behind with a 68-point gap. Kohli is also ranked second in the One-Day International rankings.
