Authorities at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport tightened security after they received an email threat on Sunday. The email is believed to have said the airport will blown up within 24 hours, and might have been sent from Germany.
The airport’s cyber crime team is now tracing the email and trying to establish its veracity. Luggage and cars at the airport are being scanned thoroughly, officials told NTDV.
