The United State's Drug Enforcement Administration has arrested Sohail Kaskar, the nephew of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim (pictured above) and two Pakistani nationals. They were caught trying to import heroin into the US. They have also been charged with providing material support and selling missile launchers to terrorist group Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia. Sohail, 36, will face a life term in jail if convicted in the case.
Sohail and his two accomplices were initially arrested in Spain in June 2014 on the request of the US government. They were later extradited and taken into custody by the DEA in December 2015. The DEA gathered proof against the trio when they agreed to sell large quantities of heroin to undercover agents in the Netherlands to take it back to the US. Concrete information on the DEA's arrest only emerged on Friday.
