The India U19 cricket team thrashed Canada by a resounding 372 runs in a warm-up game in Dhaka on Saturday. Batting first, India made a massive 485/3 in their 50 overs. In reply, Canada were bowled out for 113.
Captain Ishan Kishan started off the run feast for India, scoring 138 off 86 balls before retiring. Ricky Bhui became another centurion when he scored a 71-ball 115. There were also cameos from Rishabh Pant (62 off 37 balls) and Mahipal Lomror (55 off 23 balls).
All the bowlers chipped in for India, with Mahipal Lomror standing out with figures of 3/19. The victory marked the perfect start for India, which is looking to win its fourth World Cup.
