A woman journalist on Thursday accused an Uber cab driver of molesting her while she was on her way from Delhi to Noida. The driver has been arrested and booked under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code (assault or using criminal force against woman with intent to outrage her modesty), reported PTI.

In her complaint, the woman said she suspected the driver was taking the wrong route and asked him to stop the car. She then alighted from the cab and started walking, but the driver allegedly chased her and behaved inappropriately, the police said. The journalist then called the police control room and registered a complaint. The police added that the investigation is ongoing.
