A Chinese woman visiting an animal park in Phuket, Thailand, got bitten on the nose by a python after she tried to kiss it, The Guardian reported. As two animal wranglers held onto the reptile, 29-year-old Jin Jing and her friend leaned in for a kiss when the snake suddenly struck her on the nose. Thankfully, the python was non-venomous.
The woman, who is a journalist, was rushed to Phuket International Hospital where she was given stitches on her nose. According to The Phuket News, Pa-wai Odski, the company that runs the snake show, paid the tourist £2,200 (around Rs 2.1 lakh) in damages.
